When BRenda asked me to photograph her intimate wedding,I was thrilled

but also nervous. This was the first wedding I had photographed in a long time, after focusing on different projects for a few years, I was stepping back in. Brenda is a dear friend and after going over what her wedding would entail, I immediately became so excited. It was small, intimate and deeply personal. And all of my lovely friends would be there to help share her day.

Every step of the day was deliberate, delicate and beautiful. The soft light coming through the antique window panes gave everyone a soft glow and making the day lit like golden hour.

Brenda's family and children were literally the most supportive and loving people. Completely there for their mother on her day.

I'm not going to lie, I cried once...or twice.

Also, i loved the centerpieces. Like, seriously. how GORGEOUS.

I really loved that instead of putting a couple of tables out, they made one big table. It really symbolized how they were all one family group. Everyone dined together and it was so touching.

the details were everything.

their portraits sessions literally left me giddy to go home and edit them.

the ceremony was intimate, soft and the air filled with their vows.

The perfect day ended with the perfect reception.
