Kristin & Rusty are goals.

Seriously. This amazing couple reached out to me to capture their wedding after Covid-19 changing their wedding plans from Belize to their gorgeous backyard in Oklahoma. So they needed someone to come and hang with their amazing friends and family as they celebrated their love for each other.

One of my favorite things with the decorations, is that Kristin put together super sentimental items for her and Rusty. Their favorite books and even shells from Belize that their kids found on the beach.

Now lets talk about this bride

We immediately started bonding over her hair accessories. I am a huge fan of the Neverending Story and as soon as I saw her hair clip I kind of freaked. We retreated to a quiet part of their gorgeous backyard, dotted with beautiful mature trees that gave us a beautiful backdrop. Even the weather was kind to us that day!

And the groom wore his kilt. How cool is that?!

No 2020 is complete without video calls

The couple set up a video call to have all of their family there.

Isn't it amazing? If you sit down and think about it, despite a global pandemic we're blessed with the technology to have our loved ones experience such important moments with us, no matter where they are?

They left the video call up so everyone could mingle and chat even with the family who couldn't be there in person.

I just loved that.

About those rings...

So they used sand from Belize to be pressed into their rings. Literally the coolest thing I have ever seen.

I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking...

a huge CONGRATULATIONS to this amazing couple and their fantastic family.

The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, their children were an absolute delight and so happy. Everyone was so excited just to celebrate their day. I loved how chill and laid back this whole celebration was, I feel like their love and devotion to each other shown through the entire day.

Stay rad you crazy love birds, and thanks for inviting me to the party.
