Practical Magic has always been my comfort movie.

The book series is absolutely beautifully written, the movie has amazing themes of family, sisterly devotion, girl power and of course, magic. So I had this idea rattling around for a few years but didn't quite have the motivation to bring it to life, until now. The universe gave me the means, the energy and the most amazing two women (redhead, brunette and actually sisters!) to see my vision to life!

After the midnight margaritas, we got the hang out in the beautiful home that gave me nostalgic vibes for the movie and immediately knew we needed to book it for this shoot. So I decorated my heart out (my home is practically empty, I took all my crystals and plants!), and Silas was kind enough to lend some of her books and gorgeous artwork as props.

Blasted Fleetwood Mac the entire shoot and laughed the entire time. I lost track of time even though we were shooting two hours that day.

“My darling girl, when are you going to realize that being normal is not necessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage." - Aunt Frances

“I dream of a love that even time will lie down and be still for.”

“No one knows you like a person with whom you've shared a childhood. No one will ever understand you in quite the same way.”

“Love is worth the sum of itself, and nothing more.”

“There's a little witch in all of us.”

Disclaimer: I do not own Practical Magic and all that is owned by the most amazing Alice Hoffman. I made no money from this session, simply a creative time
